AI and Education
The primary effect that AI has on education is its capability to transcend the one-size-fits-all model. Classrooms have functioned under the premise that students learn at a singular pace for decades. AI puts an end to this assumption.
AI tools and platforms have the ability to monitor a student’s learning habits, including the student’s learning patterns, skills, and knowledge gaps in real time. This permits the formulation of tailor-made learning paths whereby the syllabus, instructional materials, and even the task's level of difficulty can change to fit every learner's requirement. AI allows for extra practice on skills that require mastery. AI is even capable of suggesting more demanding materials for students who have conquered a concept. This helps students transition to higher academic levels and makes learning more engaging.
A New Role for Teachers
AI takes care of most of the rote work, transforming the instructor’s function from the provider of knowledge to the guide and the coach. Automated rote work: AI takes over the function of admin work. This preserves time for more teaching.
